What not to do in the roll out of a new visual identity
The marketing dept. of UC snuck a new logo design into their visual identity without buy in and without testing. The resulting backlash ended in a removal of the newly minted UC mark (seen on then middle right of this post) from the visual identity so...they no longer have a logo mark. Ouch :\

So blessed...
I just ran into (Photo journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner) John White again and he, kindly, gave me this (a print of his work, ultra score!!!!):

If you have time you must check him out online - John White - the archive of his work is amazing. His talent is undeniably God given.
When I asked him how his day was going - his response..."...everyday is a gift."
