Faith Focus Flight

John White - my goodness - the whole room was crying (a bunch of cynical (and slightly snarky) designers, art directors, creative directors) - were all crying after this man spoke of NEVER letting go of you dreams. He reminded us that it is our RESPONSIBILITY to share what God put inside of us. Our gifts and talents are not for us - they are for EVERYBODY ELSE. We don't have a right to hold them hostage.

Then he blew us away when he showed us what he did with his gift. He bought his first camera and a couple packs of bazooka gum for ¢50 and never looked back. His minister father told him I don't care what you do but you better be the best at it - he obviously took that statement to heart.

He got the very first picture of Mandela when he was first freed - a million dollar reward was offered to the person who got that picture. Talk about courage and guts - it wasn't exactly a safe adventure.
